St. Joseph County Transportation Safety Action Plan & Survey

St. Joseph County –
Safe Streets Grant & Survey:

St. Joseph County Road Commission received a Safe Streets and Roads For All (SS4A) action plan grant in Fiscal Year 22 from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to develop a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan. This initiative, part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), allocates $5 billion in federal funding over five years (2022-2026).

Comprehensive Transportation Safety Action Plan:

A Comprehensive Transportation Safety Action Plan (CTSAP) will provide a roadmap for the efficient and effective implementation of safety projects throughout the county.  The CTSAP will work in concert with ongoing initiatives to develop a safer, more accessible, and equitable transportation system for all users and modes of travel while serving as a framework for future infrastructure investments.

Phase 1 Engagement (Survey):

St. Joseph County seeks input from residents for Phase 1 Engagement of the Comprehensive Transportation Safety Action Plan (CTSAP).  Your feedback is vital in shaping safer transportation solutions for our community. Please participate in the survey linked below by Friday, June 21
