DRAFT 5-YEAR PARKS & REC PLAN (2022-2026) – 

NOTICE FOR CITY OF THREE RIVERS RESIDENTS,
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MICHIGAN

NOTICE OF 30-DAY PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT PERIOD FOR THE FIVE YEAR (2022-2026) PARKS AND RECREATION MASTER PLAN AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING DATE ON JANUARY 25, 2022

Public Review Period:  December 24, 2021 – January 25, 2022

Notice is hereby given to any and all interested parties that the City of Three Rivers is seeking public comment on the Five-Year (2022-2026) Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

The required 30-day public review and comment period will begin on December 24, 2021 and will end on January 25, 2022.  Three Rivers is preparing this Five-Year Master Plan in accordance with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources requirements. When completed, this Plan will serve as a guide for the acquisition and development of community recreation facilities and programs over the next five years.

Beginning December 24, 2021, copies of the draft of the Five-Year (2022-2026) Parks & Recreation Master Plan may be found at City Hall (333 W. Michigan Ave., Three Rivers, MI 49093) during normal business hours.  The draft Plan may also be accessed online at www.threeriversmi.org: HERE!

Three Rivers residents are asked to submit comments in writing via email to Amy Roth, Public Works Director at ARoth@threeriversmi.org or submitted by mail to City Hall at 333 W. Michigan Ave., Three Rivers, MI 49093.

Notice is also given for a public hearing scheduled at 6:00pm on January 25, 2022 in accordance with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources requirements.  The purpose of this special City Commission meeting is to garner public comment and adopt the Five-Year (2022-2026) Parks and Recreation Master Plan.  The meeting will take place in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall (333 W. Michigan Ave., Three Rivers, MI 49093).
