2020 CENSUS –
Coming Soon:
Starting next Thursday (March 12), residents will begin receiving invitations for the 2020 Census. More than 675 billion dollars will go to schools, hospitals, fire departments, and infrastructure each year. When you receive the invite it’s important to respond and complete your census form (see “How to” below)*. Doing so will help decide how to allocate the $$$ for providing services, products and support for our residents and the Three Rivers community in general.
*HOW to respond: for you and others that live in your home, you’ll be able to respond at the website (2020census.gov) OR by phone or mail. WHEN to respond?… while noting that Wednesday, April 1st is Census Day, you’ll want to respond by next month if you prefer to not have a Census taker come to your home later this spring or summer (i.e., May-July). However, please be aware of scams – i.e., do not respond if you get an Email or Phone Call by someone claiming to be from the Census Bureau.
