The City of Three Rivers would like to thank everyone involved in the seventh annual Scidmore Park Hallo-weenie Roast. We had another successful year that would not have been possible without your generous support! Your support of this event, and others throughout the year, will help us to continue our efforts of teaching children of all ages about the animals in our world.
Our Business sponsors included Westside RDF (Waste Management) and Harding’s. We appreciate their continued support so that we are able to provide quality family activities such as this. Thank you so much! We also want to thank the City of Three Rivers’ employees who gave their support by donating candy, funding, etc. We extend a very special thank you to the park board members and community volunteers who served the food and drinks at the park on Halloween night.
Our night was livened up this year by Roger Stanfill of NightLive DJ who donated his time and equipment to provide us with music and a festive atmosphere. Thank you Roger!
Last but not least we want to thank all of the people who came to the zoo to see the animals and enjoy the Hallo-weenie Roast. We were able to brighten the day of many children, while feeding them hot dogs, chips and of course candy! It’s a great way to spend a part of the Trick-or-Treating evening!
