The Alpaca is a domesticated species of South American camelid, resembling a small llama. They are cautious animals who prefer not to be touched by adults but adore children. Alpacas make a variety of sounds, including a “hum” when comfortable, a “whine” when bothered, and a “laugh” when something strikes their fancy. Our Raider has been known to chase Bacon the pot-bellied pig and then laugh. Poor Bacon!
