    0
By Admin on September 29, 2010 Archive - DPS, Archive - Public Notice

The City of Three Rivers Department of Public Service crews will begin brush pickup beginning Monday, October 4th thru Friday, October 15th. Please have brush placed on the terrace next to the curb by Monday. This is for brush only and brush mixed with leaves will not be picked up.

The City of Three Rivers DPS will begin the Fall 2010 leaf pickup beginning Monday, October 18th. Please do not rake any leaves into the streets until Saturday, October 16th. Leaves placed in the street prior to the 16th will be subject to a fine. It should be noted that any brush, sod, bricks, rocks, trash or other foreign materials will damage machinery, and hamper our ability to perform our pickup and lead to a visit from the Code Enforcement Officer with a possible citation. All City residents may place leaves along the curb or roadway edges on City streets for pickup starting October 16th.

The Department of Public Services offers a compost drop off area located at 1015 South Lincoln Avenue that currently is open (except on Holidays) from 11:00 to 8:00 weekdays, Saturday from 8:00 – 4:00 and Sunday 1:00 – 5:00 and will accept brush, leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. If you have any questions, please call the Department of Public Services at 273-1845.
