As the new home at 918 8th Street approaches its final construction stage, the second Three Rivers Neighborhood Stabilization Grant (NSP) home, located at 701 East Broadway, continues to take shape and develop it’s own character.
“Home #2” has been framed and was receiving its new shingled roof as of Monday, August 18. The contractors will soon be moving inside to do their dry wall work.
The NSP is part of the Michigan State HousingDevelopment Authority (MSHDA) initiative to work in partnership with cities such as Three Rivers in redeveloping older residential neighborhoods.
