Despite the wet weather and less than desirable construction conditions, significant progress is being made on building the new City Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) home at 918 8th. Street. Since groundbreaking on May 11 the new home has begun to take shape and develop a character of its own.
As reported earlier, this partnership initiative between the City and the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) will offer a fantastic home ownership opportunity at an extremely desirable price to income eligible buyers who meet the MSHDA income requirement.
The City is excited about the progress being made on this new home and looks forward to making additional new housing opportunities available in the near future.
