There Rivers Public Library invites book lovers to ‘Read All About It’ with author Bonnie Jo Campbell!
The Three Rivers Public Library today announced that Bonnie Jo Campbell – author of American Salvage – will pay a special visit to the library at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, for an evening of first-rate storytelling; book signing and question-and-answer time with guests.
Campbell is visiting the Three Rivers Public Library as part of the Library of Michigan’s 2010 “Michigan Notable Authors Tour.” This year, 16 authors whose engaging works were chosen as 2010 Michigan Notable Books selections will visit nearly 45 libraries throughout the state.

Bonnie Jo Campbell’s latest work, American Salvage, was a finalist for the 2009 National Book Award in Fiction and a finalist for the 2009 National Book Critics Circle Award in Fiction. As noted in the National Book Award citation, “These short stories approach their subjects from an array of perspectives, but what they share is freshness, surprise, and a compulsion to plumb some absolute extremes of American existence.”
