Neighborhood Enhancement Program (District 2) – 

Thanks to a MSHDA Neighborhood Enhancement Program grant, home owners in the city’s 2nd District may be able to receive up to $7,499 for an exterior home improvement project this summer.

To be eligible, you must own and live in a home in District 2 (see map on page 9 of application packet) and meet other application requirements — see qualifications checklist on pg.11 of file; linked below.  Application instructions, contractor requirements, and other / additional information are also provided in the PDF file.

Background

The City of Three Rivers has been selected to receive a grant totaling $50,000 from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) to assist willing homeowners in funding exterior improvements to their homes.

The Neighborhood Enhancement Program (NEP) is designed to improve exterior home conditions in the City’s District 2 Neighborhood. The NEP program will fund improvements to owner occupied homes/property in the target area that will both benefit the property owner’s livability and make an aesthetic improvement to the area.
