Notice is hereby given that a Special Election will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016, from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. The purpose of the election is to vote on the following proposal as presented and listed below:
COUNTY PROPOSAL
PRIMARY/MAJOR/LOCAL ROADS AND BRIDGE IMPROVEMENTS AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY TO INCREASE BY UP TO 2.5 MILLS ($2. PER $1,000 OF TAXABLE VALUATION) FOR A PERIOD OF TEN (10) YEARS FOR ROAD PURPOSES WITHIN THE INCORPORATED CITIES AND VILLAGES IN ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MICHIGAN FOR CONSTRUCTION, IMPROVEMENT, REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF PRIMARY ROADS, MAJOR STREETS, LOCAL ROADS, AND BRIDGES UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE ST. JOSEPH COUNTY ROAD COMMISSION, WITH THE MONEY TO BE COLLECTED AND DISTRUBTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL APPLICALBE STATUES.

Park Township – Township Hall at 53640 Parkville Road
Please contact your City / Township Clerk for information regarding absentee ballots. The last day for absentee ballots to be mailed is Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
