Sealed Bids for Tank and Structures Rehab, will be received by the City of Three Rivers, MI, at the 333 W. Michigan Avenue, Three Rivers, MI 49093, until 11:00 am, local time, on July 29, 2015, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on July 22, 2015 at 11:00AM. The pre-bid meeting will be held at the administration building/office of the Three Rivers Waste Water Treatment Plant, 409 Wolf Road, Three Rivers, MI 49093.
In general, the work consists of Rehabilitation of 2 (two) primary clarifiers, scum pits, and an influent structure including the following; removal, cleaning, and reinstallation of aluminum tank covers, concrete restoration and repair via epoxy injection and/or mortar repair, surface preparation and coating with polyuria or polyurethane elastomeric coating system, cleaning of clarifier mechanism, surface preparation and coating of clarifier mechanism with coal-tar epoxy, removal and replacement of weirs and baffles, and replacement of tank pressure relief valves. Additionally, work includes the procurement and installation of a bulk bag lime feeder system and procurement of a spare clarifier drive mechanism. All work is located at the City of Three Rivers Wastewater Treatment Plant.

A $60.00 non-refundable fee will be required for each set of Contract 10 Bidding Documents and Contract Documents provided by Kal-Blue Reprographics. Bids must be submitted on the forms bound herein, must contain the names of every person or company interested therein, and shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the amount bid with satisfactory corporate surety, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance Bond and Maintenance and guarantee Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid, and Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 50% of the Bid.
Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, but no bidder shall withdraw his Bid within 30 days after the actual opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner.
