The City of Three Rivers is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time Administrative Assistant position, assisting with the Three Rivers Area Community Foundation. The incumbent assists in carrying out all functions of that office, including the preparation of agendas and minutes, donor and gift management, and assisting with the grant and scholarship program, and other office related duties as assigned. The incumbent is also responsible for support to the Board of Directors and various committees. Duties require high attention to detail.
Within six (6) months, incumbents are expected to work with minimal supervision, complete projects and perform other duties requiring independent analysis, judgment, and knowledge of foundation functions; provide non-profit leadership and excellent customer service to the general public in a professional courteous manner even in stressful situations.
Minimum requirements: High School graduate or GED; minimum of 1-year related work experience; strong customer relations, organizational and computer skills, ability to maintain high level of accuracy and confidentiality in preparing and entering data, problem solving and decision making skills; valid Michigan driver’s license; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the essential knowledge, skills and abilities. Starting pay rate: $11.40/hour; after completion of 1 year of service rate will be $14.25. Work hours: up to 25 hours per week.
