Scidmore Park is one of the City’s largest parks at just over 18 acres. Here you can find playground equipment, the duck pond, and the Scidmore Park Petting Zoo; see below.  In addition, the Riverwalk Trail starts at the southern end of Scidmore Park (near here), providing scenic views as you travel northward along the St. Joseph River, or South toward Memory Isle Park and along the Rocky River.  Several of the city’s public park shelters are located within Scidmore Park, and are available for use through online reservation requests.
