Scidmore Park

Scidmore Park is the City’s largest park at just over 18 acres. Here you can find playground equipment, the duck pond, and the Scidmore Park Petting Zoo; see below.  In addition, the Riverwalk Trail starts at the southern end of Scidmore Park, providing scenic views as you travel northward along the St. Joseph River and up into Memory Isle Park along the Rocky River.  Scidmore Park is also home to the Farmer’s Market on Thursdays during the warmer weather months.  Several of the city’s public park shelters are located within Scidmore Park, and are available for use through online reservation requests.

Please note that, while the petting zoo is not currently open, several animals can be viewed from the fenced area  And the popcorn stand is open during the summer months…!
