City of Three Rivers Statement Regarding Attorney General Announcement:

THREE RIVERS, Mich. — The City of Three Rivers is aware of the recent announcement by the Michigan Department of Attorney General and is coordinating with legal counsel and the appropriate state authorities.
The charges announced are allegations in a pending criminal matter, and all individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The City is preserving potentially relevant records and will respond appropriately to lawful requests for information.
Because this is an active legal matter, the City will not comment on the specific allegations or the prosecution. Questions regarding the criminal proceedings should be directed to the Michigan Department of Attorney General.
The City is grateful for an election system that protects every eligible voter’s opportunity to participate while also providing safeguards to identify and address potential unlawful voting.
