Crossing Guards Honored For Service

“The dedication they have for the safety of our children sometimes goes unnoticed.  They are concerned about the safety of our children on the way to school, on the way home from school.  They work rain or shine, hot or cold, snow, rain – anything there is out there.  They take into consideration everything that has to do with kids’ safety.”

Crossing-Guards-recognitionMildred Ferguson, Middle School crossing guard, received a one-year “Crossing Guard” pin.

Karen Pfost, Hoppin School crossing guard, received a two-year “Crossing Guard” pin.

Harold Robinson, crossing guard at Barrows School for almost ten years, received a “Crossing Guard” pin, plus five-year and ten-year pins.

Eddie Gipson, Andrews School crossing guard, was unable to attend because of illness.  He was recognized for over 15 years of service.  He will receive a “Crossing Guard” pin plus five-year, ten-year and 15-year pins.
