- First District Commissioner (2-year term) – 1 to be elected
- Third District Commissioner (2-year term) – 1 to be elected
- Mayor (2-year term) – 1 to be elected
Polling Location
City of Three Rivers – Riverside Church at 207 East Michigan
Placards with voting instructions will be provided at the polling places. Instruction materials are available in alternate formats upon request, and the polling locations are accessible.
CLOSE OF REGISTRATION FOR THE NOVEMBER 3, 2015 GENERAL ELECTION
You are hereby notified that the last day to register to vote or change your address for the November 3, 2015 Election will be Monday, October 5, 2015.
Electors who wish to vote in the election must be registered no later than October 5, 2015. To register, visit any Secretary of State Branch office, the County Clerk’s office, Three Rivers City Hall M-F 8-4:30, or your local clerk’s office. Voter registration forms may also be obtained at specified agencies for clients receiving services through the Department of Human Services, the Department of Community Health, the Michigan Jobs Commission, some offices of the Commission for the Blind, or at military recruitment offices for person enlisting in the armed forces.
The following will be placed on the ballot:
- At-large Commissioner (2-year term) – 1 to be elected
- First District Commissioner (2-year term) – 1 to be elected
- Third District Commissioner (2-year term) – 1 to be elected
- Mayor (2-year term) – 1 to be elected
ABSENTEE BALLOTS FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION
Absentee ballot applications for the General Election are due by 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015 for voters that wish to receive an absent voter ballot by mail. To accommodate any ballot requests, the Clerk’s Office at Three Rivers City Hall will be open from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST OF THE ELECTION EQUIPMENT WILL BE HELD ON OCTOBER 7, 2015 at 9 a.m. at Three Rivers City Hall, 333, W. Michigan Avenue.
THE FURTHER PURPOSE of the tests is to verify the accuracy of the Accu-Vote equipment the City will be using for the November 3, 2015 General Election. Any interested person may attend and witness the testing.
